Türkiye’de ve Dünyadaki Dijital Dönüşümün Lojistik Mesleğinin Geleceğine Yönelik Etkileri

Endüstri 4.0 ile birlikte teknolojik gelişmelerin hız kazanması değişim ve dönüşümü beraberinde getirmiş Toplum 5.0’a geçişi destekleyecek çalışmalara başlanılmıştır. Bu nedenle ülkeler, işletmeler ve bireylerin dijital dönüşümü anlaması, adapte olması, getirebileceği avantajlı ve dezavantajlı durumlara karşı hazırlıklı olması beklenmektedir. Bahsi geçen bu teknolojiler arasında yapay zeka, nesnelerin interneti, otonom robotlar, büyük veri, bulut bilişim, siber güvenlik ve blok zincir bulunmaktadır. Bu teknolojilerin kullanımında aranan özelliklere bakıldığında ise analitik düşünme, karmaşık problemlere çözüm getirme yeteneği ve akıl yürütme, yenilikçi bir bakış açısı, teknoloji bilirkişiliği, liderlik ve girişimcilik becerileri gelmektedir. Teknolojik becerilerin kullanımında, gelişmelerden etkilenen ve değişim ile dönüşüme uğrayan sahaların başında meslekler gelmektedir. Mesleki gelişim bir ülkenin ekonomisini ve toplumsal yapısını belirleyen önemli bir altyapı olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu açıdan teknolojinin meslekler üzerindeki etkisinin iş gücü ve iş hayatı üzerinde ciddi etkileri olabileceğini söylemek mümkündür. Zamana yayılan süreçte bu etkilerin artarak devam edebileceği öngörülmektedir. Mevcut çalışma hayatında gündeme gelmesi beklenen değişimlerin, meslekleri etkilemesiyle birlikte bazı mesleklerin tamamen yok olacağı bazılarının da dönüşüme uğrayacağı beklenmektedir. Böylelikle yeni meslek dallarının ortaya çıkması gibi bir durum söz konusu olmaktadır. Genel kanı olarak dönüşümün gerisinde kalan ülkelerin ve sektörlerin dijitalizasyonu doğru yönlendiremediği takdirde yok olmaya mahkum olacağı sonucuna ulaşılabilmektedir. Hazırlıklı olan ülkelerin ve sektörlerin ise dijital dönüşümün avantajlarından faydalanacağı bir gerçektir. Çalışma özelinde lojistik mesleğinin geleceğine yönelik olarak dijital dönüşümün etkilerine bakıldığında gerçek zamanlı erişim ve kontrol imkânı sağlayan, esnekliği ön planda tutan süreçlerin sağlanmasına yönelik teknolojik gelişmelerden faydalanması beklenmektedir. Küreselleşme ve bilgi iletişim teknolojilerinin bir arada kullanılıp gelişmesi beraberinde lojistik sektörünün dünyada ve ülkemizde büyümesine olanak sağlamıştır. Bu amaçla dijital dönüşüme lojistik sektörünün adaptasyon sağlaması açısından bütünleşmiş entegre bir dijitalleşme sürecine girilmesi gerekmektedir. Çalışmada alanyazın araştırması yapmak amacıyla ayrıntılı bir literatür analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Dijital dönüşüm süreci itibariyle lojistik mesleğinin gelişimi, değişimi ve dönüşümü ele alınmıştır. Türkiye ve dünya açısından dijital dönüşümün lojistik mesleğinin geleceğine yönelik etkilerinin genel bir perspektif ile ortaya konulması amaçlanmış ve kapsamlı bir gelecek vizyonu oluşturmak adına sonuç olarak önerilere yer verilmiştir.

The Effects of Digital Transformation in Turkey and the World on the Future of the Logistics Profession

The acceleration of technological developments with Industry 4.0 brought about change and transformation, and studies have been started to support the transition to Society 5.0. For this reason, countries, businesses and individuals are expected to understand and adapt to digital transformation and be prepared for the advantageous and disadvantageous situations it may bring. These technologies include artificial intelligence, internet of things, autonomous robots, big data, cloud computing, cyber security and blockchain. Analytical thinking, ability to solve complex problems and reasoning, an innovative perspective, technology expertise, leadership and entrepreneurship skills are the features sought in the use of these technologies. In the use of technological skills, occupations are at the forefront of the fields that are affected by developments and that are transformed by change. Professional development emerges as an important infrastructure that determines the economy and social structure of a country. In this respect, it is possible to say that the impact of technology on occupations can have serious effects on the workforce and business life. It is predicted that these effects will continue to increase over time. It is expected that some professions will disappear completely and some will be transformed, as the changes expected to come to the fore in the current working life affect the professions. Thus, there is a situation such as the emergence of new professions. As a general opinion, it can be concluded that the countries and sectors that fall behind the transformation will be doomed to extinction if they cannot direct digitalization correctly. It is a fact that countries and sectors that are prepared will benefit from the advantages of digital transformation. Looking at the effects of digital transformation on the future of the logistics profession in particular, it is expected that it will benefit from technological developments to provide processes that provide real-time access and control and prioritize flexibility. The combined use and development of globalization and information and communication technologies has enabled the logistics industry to grow in the world and in our country. For this purpose, it is necessary to enter an integrated digitalization process in order to adapt the logistics sector to digital transformation. In the study, a detailed literature analysis was carried out in order to research the literature. In terms of the digital transformation process, the development, change and transformation of the logistics profession are discussed. It is aimed to reveal the effects of digital transformation on the future of the logistics profession in terms of Turkey and the world, with a general perspective, and as a result, suggestions are included in order to create a comprehensive future vision.
